Meet Sr. Phumla Vumazonke
Meet Sr Phumla Vumazonke the Director and Founder of Emily Damooi Health. Emily Damooi Health was established in 2018 by Sr Phumla, a professional nurse with 18 years of experience.
She is a qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, Community and Psychiatric Nurse based in Cape Town. Her experience comes a long way from serving within the Medical Field, both public and private including Community Health Services initially in the Eastern Cape, Northen Cape and ultimately in the Western Cape.
Sr Phumla’s exposure includes tele-services, engaging patients form various backgrounds creating rapport telephonically and providing health education on treatment compliance and lifestyle modification.
Furthermore, she has also served in Major Managed Health Care Medical Insurance Administration Companies in the following roles: Wellness Couch, Case Manager for Psych, Martenity and Spinal Programs. To add, she also served as a Hospital Pre-authorisation Case Manager/Prospective reviewer and Quality Assessor for the Disease Risk Management Department.
